Founder and Managing Director, Education Impact
Nationality: French
Philippe has 20 years' experience in the ICT and education
industry, including a ten year period as Education Director for
Microsoft France (1993-2002).
In 2003, Philippe founded PM Conseil, a consultancy firm focused
on helping ICT companies, publishers and content providers build on
their projects and win market share in the education space by
developing their visions into strategies and transforming those
strategies into plans. The company has fostered effective
partnerships with leading education suppliers and public
institutions and has strong international experience. In 2008,
Philippe Méro launched Education Impact to address the growing
demand of high level consultancy services in Education and ICT both
from Governments, Funding Organizations and Corporates
worldwide.
Philippe has a MBA from the Edhec Business School in France
Fred Fulton Berríos
Operations Director, Education Impact
Nationality: Chilean, British
Fred Fulton Berríos joined Education Impact in mid-2008. Fred has
around fifteen years' experience in ICT for education and
development in senior commercial and operational roles. Initially
this was as Founding Employee and Investor with a technology firm
that built collaborative platforms for education authorities
worldwide. More recently, this was with the International
Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), where he had
responsibility for the launch and roll-out of the International
Federations' worldwide knowledge sharing platform, FedNet.
Whilst with the IFRC, Fred was also Senior Officer and Lead for
the Co-operation Agreement Strategy (within the Movement
Co-ordination Division) for all members of the Red Cross Red
Crescent Movement and other International Organisations, and a
member of the Spanish Red Cross Emergency Response Unit (ERU).
Fred has an MSc in Development Studies from Oxford Brookes and
speaks English, Spanish and French.
