The Magellan Educational Initiative started in Portugal as an
innovative approach to Education in which the company provided
tools for teachers and students, helping to embed ICT in the
Education process. From Portugal to the World, J.P. Sá Couto
developed and gathered experiences from more than 60 countries and
over 3 million students, allowing the company to create frameworks
and methodologies to support transformation and project
deployment.

over the last two decades. The investments cover infrastructure,
content, teacher competencies and other topics.

In this module the Education Impact Fellow will provide views
and guidance on how systems and organisations can develop and
implement school teacher and leadership capabilities and standards.
We have at our fingertips international and national research
findings and trends that may influence planning and the
establishment of capabilities and systems
