Tanzania 21st Century Basic Education Program

01 March 2011
Education Impact was selected to be one of the partner organizations to conduct the large-scale “Tanzania 21st century basic education programme” funded by USAID.

The programme is aiming to provide technical and material support to Ministries in mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar to enhance the teaching-learning process and ensure the meaningful use of educational data by headquarters, district, and school staff to enhance the decision-making process.

It is a great premiere for USAID who is onboarding 7 partners, including NGOs and corporations, on this 3 year project. Creative Associates International, Inc., an NGO based in Washington D.C., will be in charge of the project as prime contractor.

3 of our Fellows are currently leading and representing Education Impact on this mission and all have extensive experience working with education leaders in sub-Saharan Africa. Education Impact also involves other Fellows in the project by allocating them when adittional support is required.
